The Club Airstrip is at Puhi Puhi, 25 Km north of Whangarei. The Club owns three, two seat gliders.   The aircraft are an ASK13, Janus, and a Grob 109B motor glider.      Visitors are ALWAYS welcome.

warning.gif (165 bytes)  The airstrip is suitable for powered aircraft operations but permission is required from the land owner, Paul Rockel before any landings or take offs are attempted.  The airstrip is part of a working dairy farm.  The airstrip proper is 1400 metres long.
