The Waikato University Physics Department presents a Bi-annual Lecture to Secondary Schools around New Zealand.   The Osborne Memorial Lecture, presents the Theory of Flight.

The Symposium is delivered to Pupils who are in their final years, before attending University.  The Lecture, presented to Pupils in the Whangarei area, in the Assembly Hall of Whangarei Girls High School.  The Gliding Club was invited to attend, to attract new, younger members to the "fold", and to exhibit an aircraft to demonstrate points in the Lecture.  Pictures taken 30 June 2000.
