Kamo Highschool is building a new science block. From the start of next year all science teaching will be done in one complex.

Every room will have a computer terminal, video terminals, telephone terminals. All computer terminals will be linked to the internet.

"The key to computers these days is that they should be a tool, and so they need to be there all the time." said Mr Abel , principal of Kamo Highschool.

Head of Chemistry Todd Hamilton said the scope of science, and the knowledge involved, kept growing and changing. That meant that teachers could not have all the answers, but the information was available on the internet. The best time for students to try to find what they wanted to know was when they asked a question. This is giant positive step forward to reach this goal.
